How to use and maintain electric hoist

electric hoist is a kind of small lifting equipment, which is installed on the overhead crane, gantry crane. It can also be used with I-beams or H-beams. The electric hoist has the characteristics of small volume, light weight, simple operation and convenient use. It is widely used, but there are few professionals who can operate electric hoist correctly. It is suggested that we should know more about electric hoist and make better use of various electric hoist in various fields.

The newly installed electric hoist shall be put into trial operation without load for many times. However, don’t to power on the test run until the installation is complete. Before normal use, 125% of rated load, static load test and dynamic load test shall be conducted to check whether the hoist is normal.

The working environment temperature of electric hoist is – 20 ℃~ + 40 ℃.  It is not suitable for places full of corrosive gas or relative humidity greater than 85%, and can not replace explosion-proof hoist. It is not suitable for lifting molten metal or toxic flammable and explosive materials.

The electric hoist shall not be lifted and unloaded from the side, and overload use is prohibited. In the process of use, the operator should check whether the steel wire rope is disorderly buckled, knotted, dropped groove, worn and other phenomena at any time. If it occurs, it should be eliminated in time, and the rope guide and limit switch should be checked regularly to see if they are safe and reliable. It is not allowed to press two hand switch buttons that make the electric hoist move in the opposite direction at the same time. When the electric hoist is not working, it is not allowed to suspend heavy objects in the air to prevent permanent deformation of parts. After working, turn off the main power switch and cut off its power supply.

Electric hoist is related to safety, so quality selection is very important. In order to give you suitable electric hoist solution promptly, please provide us with your inquiry, including lifting capacity, lifting height, power supply and working environment.
