Crane rollover accidents have been reported on the Internet from time to time, which is indeed something worthy of our attention. Safety comes first. Regarding useful methods to prevent the crane from tipping over, the following points should be noted:
- The road of the crane must be smooth, solid and reliable, and the parking place must be level.
- One or two cranes are not allowed to operate on one or two working platforms of one or two cranes.
- When hoisting components, the sling should be vertical, and must not be pulled diagonally beyond the reversal radius of the crane to prevent overloading and slippage of the wire rope or rope breakage, resulting in crane instability. Pull ropes should be set when lifting heavy objects.
- When the crane is in operation, the boom should be raised and lowered and rotated smoothly, and it should not be shaken in the air. At the same time, try to prevent emergency braking or shock oscillation. Reliable technical methods have not been adopted, and without the approval of relevant technical departments, overloading is strictly prohibited to prevent accelerated mechanical parts wear and cause cranes to roll over.
- The crane should try to prevent the full load from traveling; when the crane is fully loaded or close to full load, it is strictly forbidden to carry out lifting and turning (lifting and horizontal rotation or lifting and walking) together to prevent the crane from rolling over due to uneven road or inertial force. Something.
- When two cranes are working together, a safety distance of more than 5m should be maintained between the components suspended by the hooks of the two cranes to prevent collisions.
