Philippine Customer Jib Crane With Pneumatic Hoist

On July 22, 2022, we received an inquiry from the customer. The customer said that he needed a jib crane. Then he sent the specific request: lifting capacity of 500kg, jib length of 4m,  total height of 4m, and a starter Chain Hoist.

After knowing the specific needs of the customer, we immediately got in touch with him. After that, we sent him the best solution and quotation. Through the understanding of the customer, we knew that the customer is a middleman. And he was also looking for the product for his own customer, that is, the end user.

Then I started to follow up every day. Send him the payment bank documents of other customers and their feedback on the same product. However, no reply has been received from the customer.

Then I got in touch with the customer on Facebook, until June 22, 2022. In June, the client replied to my email again that the project has restarted. His client is ready to buy, but we need to update the quotation and detailed drawings. Then we immediately updated the quotation and drawings according to the end user’s needs.

After a month of communication, the customer confirmed whether we could go to the Philippines to help the customer with testing and installation. We said yes. Then the customer asked us to add this part of the quotation to the total quotation, and we did so. After all issues were resolved, the client told me that they needed to put us on their supplier list. Then sent me a link to complete their company supplier registration online. Due to the large number of documents required, it took me two consecutive days to complete the registration.

After completing the registration, the customer asked if we could give them some discounts. Finally, we gave the customer some discounts, and then the customer confirmed the order and paid us an advance payment.
